Are you comfortable with you?

I followed Kassie and recently she blogged about Perfectly Imperfect and it caught my attention. So here is mine!

I never fancy seeing my bare face in the mirror. When I do, I will start squeezing all my zits and feel depressed. But when someone you love tells you, you are beautiful even when you feel awful just by the mere thoughts on what you gonna see in the mirror, you somehow feel confident. And confidence is all you need :)

If you have something you don't like about yourself, don't worry...Everyone have a thing a two they don't like about themselves too.

My flaws:
Whiteheads, acne.
Thin eyebrow
Sharp chin
Small mouth, thin lips

Things I love:
My dark circles are not so bad, considering my sleeping time.
My skin (in general)
My lips colour
My eyes (even though they are kinda small XP)

While it is good to be able control how you want to look with makeup, it is a good feeling to know that you smile when you look at your bare face in the mirror.

After all remember:
"For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone.
"

Do tell me what you like about yourself or you don't like or both in the comments. Or write a blog entry for this and leave me the link. Would love to read them

despite the fact that i spent some of my life wondering why my skin wasn't like an eggshell and falling to makeup commercials, I LOVE MY BARE FACE. Due to my suckniess at makeup, or reality, I can't makeup myself to look like myself. When I loook in the mirror I see myself, innocent, young, and open. However makeup is PERFECTO for stage and I guess when you want to feel older, partying. Makeup is for showing off and having fun not everday :) And I think you are soooooo beautiful :)) Both sides of the face :) it never actually occured to me anybody would hate their face without makeyup since i never use makeup. hating yourself without having any makeup is ok but hating yourself because you dont look like magazine pictures? false

Actually a topic like this made me realise even he beauty guru on youtube have flaws. I always look p to them and thought the have beautiful skin well until they go bare. Well.. at least I know having normal skin with zits here and there is okay :)

Thanks for the comment dear :))

stop comparing my skin with my 10 yrs old sister does help too. lol.

this post really touched me! indeed, it is important to love yourself for how you are first, accept your flaws and assets, in order to be beautiful inside and out. if you're perfect physically yet don't have the character to match it with, it doesn't matter as much. we need to glow inside out. (^_^)

i like how my eyes look (hubby loves it!) and how i have full lips. i don't like how round my face is and i know i can further improve the condition of my skin. nevertheless, i still love the way i look because no one in this world looks exactly like me as God created me like this. :)

bless you for your post! (^_^)

You're such a brave woman to do this. It isn't easy pointing out the things that we DON'T like about ourselves. If it's any consolation, I think your lips are just perfect. :) In fact..all of you is.

Thank you B!! :) I used to be teased in highschool for my sharp chin.. But now I learn to embrace them. And putting my flaws out here make me more confident because I have nothing to hide now ;) hahaha

aww this is such a cool post. I think I've pretty much embraced what's on my face but now I gotta accept my body shape like 100%

I love this post, totally. I am a weak woman because i can't go out with a bare face unless it's just around the neighborhood haha :(
