This is one of the very first sheet mask I have tried. I used to be peel off or wash off mask kinda girl. Never put my trust in sheet mask after my first itchy encounter with them. My Beauty Diary masks were the reason I give sheet mask a second chance. And now I am loving them! I am in the process of trying out different types of mask. They just look so inviting! Cross fingers that I will be able to do a weekly review on them.

Move on to this Luxury Series mask. So far I have tried the Gold and Platinum masks. Both are retailing for RM9.90 each and exclusively available in Watson.
The claims:
Eliminate free radicals and balances cell ions to prevent skin aging. Leave your skin silky smooth and glowing with health.
I say:
After using the mask I do feel my skin gotten somewhat smoother and softer. This brightens my skin instantly which I love and it does give the healthy glow that it claims. On the other hand, the gold flecks on the mask have to be massaged in otherwise it will sit on top of your skin.
The direction specifically said to leave on for 15 to 20 minutes, I would normally leave my mask on longer than that. In my case I leave it for 45 minutes because there is so much essence left on the mask if you only place it on for 20 minutes. I love anything light on my face. This is not sticky, it does feel slimy at first but after you pat in the essence you will not feel like there is any film covering your face.
May not suit sensitive skin as this has perfume listed in the ingredients list. However the scent is really light and fresh! I love it!
The paper mask is thin, similar to My Beauty Diary and fits my face well.

On the downside this does not offer enough hydration. This mask is a little pricey too. RM9.90 per piece is a little crazy.
Looking at the ingredients above I am happy that water was not on the top five ingredients. Even if this mask dried up faster than MBD, I would still prefer this.
Conclusion:
I like it. Will I be repurchasing? I guess yes if I have the budget ;) For me, this leans more towards luxury pampering unlike MBD which is more affordable.

I used to buy another one from this brand. The bird's nest mask. Damn good. However, for this one, I don't like the gold flake. It kinda made a mess and the results just the same as the bird's nest one, some more more expensive.
Oh I didnt see the Bird Nest mask. Since the result is the same I think I will try that instead in the future ;)
